ALBANY N.Y. – The New York State senate labor committee will be reviewing six bills that would increase the state’s minimum wage Monday morning.
According to the Department of labor minimum wage for New York State is $8 an hour. Governor Cuomo has expressed his support for a $10.10 minimum wage.
Dozens of fast food workers and policy experts will press the Legislature to take action in raising minimum wage.
